Here are a few pics from Vacation. My wife and I just spent the week at North Myrtle Beach S.C. It was kind of slow, the beach was OH SO Crowded though.. <grin> But we did manage to enjoy the sand and surf, and even took in a tour of the U.S.S. North Carolina in Wilmington N.C. (just an hour north of where we were staying.)

Thanks for rekindling some memories...

As kids, our parents took us to Myrtle Beach a few times (we lived in Fayetteville)...we had some great times there. Dad even took us to see the USS North Carolina. She had only been berthed there a couple years when we went to see her...that was about 1967 (give or take a year)...I was about 11-12 yrs old!!

I need to take my boys there now!! They are 10 and 12!

But Myrtle Beach ain't like it use to be...

Thanks for taking us along on your vacation. I guess once you see one ship, you've seen them all...I've seen the U.S.S. Alabama twice, and the U.S.S. Kidd 4 times (field trips with school).
