Detector(s) used
Whites and Garrett. I use several machines, the ace 350 is a nice machine. I have a 5900, 6000, whites.
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
A friend of mine passed away several months back, he had been detecting for about ten years, he truly enjoyed the hobby. Over the years of detecting he found some nice items, and here are a few that I was given by his daughter. She has no interest in old buttons and other things he found, I was afraid she was going to toss all his finds in the trash or maybe she give the stuff to his grand kids, no she called me and asked if I would take a few of his finds home. There are four 1812 buttons, the 41st, a corps button, the 1798 issue Cannon button I believe, I may be wrong on that one and the other is the round button that was silver gilted. These buttons came from a site that had the Brittish and American troops at this trading post site, in 1812. The other items are good for a display, I will take really good care of them, Dick was a good friend. HH
