Me and a friend hunted some vacant lots last month where the city had torn down some old houses in the past. My friend came up with a Barber dime which was the only silver for the day. Although, I didn't find the silver I did come home with a keeper. The token in the photo made my day. Its a saloon token from N. Fort Worth. The loaded revolver was interesting also!

nice! I'd put the gun in a wall display frame or something.

Thanks rbecker1967 and dirtwizard. I beat ya to it! Already put the pistol in a display case :icon_thumleft:.

Initially, though, I called the police dept in the city where it was found. The factors surrounding this gun seemed suspicious to me.
1. It's to modern to have been accidentally lost on this particular lot.
2. It was in a "bad" part of town.
3. It's loaded
4. First three shots are fired.
5. It had a rock over it when I dug it up.

I just knew I was about to crack a big cold case and get on TruTV but the police didn't seem the least bit interested so the display case is where it went!

Great Token, You mean the Cops didn't even run the numbers??? That to me seems the most suspicious thing about finding that gun.

looks like the pistol was stashed under the rock for later use! nice haul of targets
