I really wish somebody would build a metal detector with a built in weed whacker so that I could easily detect some of the more overgrown areas. And just think you could metal detect the neighbors yard and he would think you're just helping out with the yard work because you are such a nice guy.

I go in areas that have sheep grazing and wait for days after the sheep cleared the weeds for me and detect. These areas are usually in old farm sites, mill sites and abandoned areas where there would be old homes and squatters that would bury or loose things in grassy brushy areas.

I have a good recovery in areas where there were buildings, wells sites and bedding down sites for herds and shepherds.
