Went to hunt with Mastereagle last night at a site he got us permission to hunt. We cleaned out a lot of trash and managed to find a couple things. We detected until 11pm and agree that we need to go back. That's right....we actually agreed on something.
Since Mastereagle didn't draw "first blood" on his post...I won't be mean to him. Oh well...maybe next time!

I found a shell similar to this some time ago. Strange Lookin though.........

You guys should hold a competition with those other nuts,ridgerunner,greg and schloopy to see who will go out when it's zero outside at night.But you had terrific finds and you both enjoyed it.

The rifle cartridge is a 30.06 blank used to fire Grenades or for a 21 gun salute. The M-1 Garand and the 1903 Springfield rifle used this caliber. Tim
