Sorry for the quality, but having a hard time getting the hang of this camera ... but look at the little jewel my wife found in our garden yesterday. Tried to research it, and apparently it's an "Australian Jewel Spider".

Just keep that Jewel in YOUR garden!:laughing7:

I have seen those before but never knew what they were called. Thanks!

They are quite small and hard to get a really good picture of but you did well. Does your camera have a spot focus setting? If so you might try using it.

Autofocus is broken ... and still learning this camera. Camera was a gift to my daughter by my brother, she wanted my camera (Fuji s1800) and offered even trade. It's an old Canon EOS Rebel.

That's neat. I am using an EOS Rebel SL1 myself.

Nice camera, I really like it. Just takes a bit more thought than my Fuji did. Of course, I've had that one for 4 or 5 years so it's a bit more familiar. Like the rebel though as it's a true DSLR ... and I can shoot in raw format as well. Fuji is limited to jpg and its inherent aspecting.
