I drop in to a bank I am only able to get to once in a while and ask if they have any halves. "I have $60 here at my tray." I say "cool I'll take all you got". The teller then says "how much do you want?" .... I was confused a bit because I thought they only had $60. So, I say "I can take up to $1000".... Response "A lady just dropped off her grandmothers halves, she collected"....

Imagine the rest of the discussion... And I walked out with $1000 in halves from "grandmas collection". Being duped before I didn't get too excited, and I don't have time today due to long work hours to search BUT, I opened one roll and.... Out pops a 64, a 67 and a 68!!!

Now I'm jonesing but HAD to get to work. Hope to post some amazing finds tonight! If I rack up I'll be getting more tomorrow!

Well I finally took the time to finish the MWR that came with grandmas collection... And I'm floored! I pulled about 2 silvers from every roll! And this is the place that told me "we pull the silver out"

Total from the grandma pickup of $1060 halves:
2 bicentennial proofs
A no FG 82d (will get inspected)
1 x 62 (my first BF!!!)
4 x 64
98 x 65-69
Several 88d uncirculated and several book fillers.



Guys I'm just friggin blown away. Over 100 silvers in a $1k pickup when I have gone through box after box with nothing.

I may go buy a lottery ticket l

After much closer looks its a poor FG but not a "no FG" looks like. Really the g barely shows. Huge pic attached.
