Hello all,
did a little research today and and found a new school to hunt.. so I had an hour and a half after work and decide to stop and I'm glad I did. two out of the first four signals were Wheaties which got me interested. I decided to work a section next to the pool since i only had 1.5 hours. about a half hour in and I got a weird sounding 12-41 on my etrac about 7 inches down, which is usually Wheat penny so i decided to dig it. boy was I surprised when a Merc popped out of the hole..awesome! Also found a piece of junk metal in the hole which explained the Lower signal. I kept detecting this little section next to the pool and ended up getting a beautiful 12-45 12-46 signal and dug up a second Merc. I wanted to do a little prospecting at the school to see if I was going to return and ended up going out towards the ball field a little bit to do one back and forth and ended up finding a head! It rang up 12-41..and i believe its lead...i like it tho.
decide to go back to my section near the pool and ended up getting a beautiful 12-45 which ended up to be a 1952 silver Rosie... needless to say I'll be back at that school pulling 3 silver is an hour and a half ...those are silver 55, 56, and 57 this year for me.
happy hunting everybody

Thanks for sharing those really nice finds ! I found a old school that I want to dig at. It's been torn down and don't know who owns the land now but I doubt it's been hit much because its out in the country a little and I hope it's been forgotten about. I'll be hoping for your kind of luck ! Lol

Maybe the head is a part to an old trophy? makes sense because it was near a ball field.
