I went for a hike over the inner islands this evening and witnessed this squabble between swallows. It went on for quite a while, I don't know if it was a lovers tiff, or the kids playing up but it gave me a chance to get some closeup shots

enjoy

The first two are of a swallow coming in to land

I do enjoy, Ian, Thanks!
"Sqaubble", is that what ya'll call it over there? ;D
Well, I mean, I don't know my girl swallow from boy swallow, But I'm noticing with my birds, as the days are getting longer, well,
it's that time of the year!? :laughing7: Took me a few years, to be able to, "read" my birds during hormone season, and not get my nose, lips, and cheeks bit to death, Mine will latch on, and then hollar, while they don't let go!

Ian, I come home today, to find my birds, just ripping into each other.
One is a bully,(must take after me), the other is so passive(he doesn't take after me).
I had to actually seperate them, into their own cages for a few hours!

Meany bird season! :laughing7:

May be an evening sky in the last photo. But also resembles several (koi) fish underwater in a pond.
