Went out on Sunday for a few hours to a beach on the North Shore of Long Island that had activity dating back to the colonial period. There is so much deep junk that i pretty much swore it off. I came across reading I believed was different and im glad I dug it. It looks like an Earring and I think its gold plated. IMG_4045.webp

Beautiful find, did you test it, it might be solid as a result of plating could have already been worn off by the ocean.

Nice find

I did not test it but there is an area on the back that is pinkish in color. im thinking that area is where the gold wore off.

Congrats on the recovery.
Wet sand or up on the dry sand?

Looks like spinner off a lure
