Got out today and tried 4 different sites; the last one produced some older finds.

At a Baltimore City park that has produced musketballs and Civil War bullets in small number came this .28 caliber bullet. Shape is unusual and I would appreciate any further info you may know about such a small caliber bullet.

Last hole was my first and last silver of the day, a vintage St. Cristopher medal. I have not been able to find a like example on-line. I would date it as early 20th century. Ideas?

Good hunt from an area that has been hammered again and again.

ALWAYS great finds McCDig. I spent 30 minutes searching for a match - OMG - must be a zillion medals on the net. A few times I thought I had BUT nuttn' honey!

It’s very good luck to find a Saint Christopher Medal, you should be finding some good stuff soon then by my math

That is a beautiful medallion congratulations

Nice sterling religious pendant!

Sweet silv! [emoji106]

A very nice Catholic medal. I'm pretty sure I had one very near like that one in the thirties.

Great job, love the St. Christopher medal!!!

Hey Spud, this one's for you, buddy.

Thx muddyrock! I am very pleased with the silver medal. With the irregular shape I took it for a piece of foil at first.

Thx thrifty76now! I appreciate hearing that it's similar to one you had. The depth would indicate at least that old.

Thx K1DDO1979! GL and HH in NC!

Thx xr7ator! The pendant obverse has a detailed design and a shape that one doesn't see today.

McCdig, Congrat's on the finds of the religious medal and the bullet.

Thx devildog! Findings those goodies was a reward for all that swingin', but others have said, I'm thankful to just be able to get out and hunt.

Thanks Bob! Years ago I had a pedestrian accident on the way into work; a construction truck hit me as I was in a crosswalk. The driver just clipped me and I was lifted off my feet briefly. A short trip to the ER and nothing broken, no stitches. I mention that because after that incident, one of our department's nurses gave me a St. Christopher medal that attaches to a vehicle's visor. I've had it in my truck ever since.
