A LITTLE beer and a LITTLE gold made me SMILE!

Haven't posted on the board here in a few weeks, just haven't been out detecting lately. My back has really been bothering me so I thought I'd give it a much deserved rest! I went out this past weekend on Sat. and Sun. both...with this great weather we've been having up here just had to get out and detect for a bit. Probably put in about 2 hrs Sat. and the same on Sun. Hit a couple of school playgrounds, wanted to do the woodchips as it's much easier on my back. These pics are my total finds for both days combined. Not much but the smiley face earring is stamped 10kt...made me smile finding it! The little Corona beer lighter is pretty cool...couldn't have been dropped long before I found it as it still works fine and it was just kinda covered a little with the woodchips...not really buried. The Mickey Mouse tag says "Ellen" on it and the other tag/keychain/whatever thingy says "I (heart picture) dancing" . The one thing is another zipper to add to the about 50 or so I already found. The buckle is kinda interesting, I found it outside the woodchip area and it was buried about 4 inches down...not sure how old but pretty cool. Then of course the clad...not a bad weekend and it was fun!

I always wear a back brace when I am going out to metal detect, and it makes a BIG DIFFERENCE next day. It is one of those industrial safety type back braces with velcro and elastic straps. You normally wear it under your clothes.
