A little German !

That's a nice coin. Maybe I should try and detect some land around my place instead of the beaches I normally hunt. Coins like that might be common here too, considering I live only 15 km from the city of Schwerin in Mecklenburg.

That would be very likely that they are common. They are found in large amounts all over Denmark.
They would have had a value of 2 skilling danske (2 danish Skilling), of the same period.
The danish 2 Skillings have the exact same size and and weight of silver.
Lübsch Schilling Courant had the value if 1:2 against the danish money at that time.
I think they were accepted as payment in DK too. We also find 1 Schillings from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg from the same period.
