A little Gold?

I found this practicing MDing. It was not dug, I found it deep in the grass. It measures 3/16" by 3/16" at its widest. I have my idea of what it can be. What do you think? Is it Gold?

If Gold it should be marked.

Check if it's a Locket.

In that Condition if it is plated, you should see The Base Metal in a Scratch somwhere.
