Went out a couple hours this morn before the heat sets in. Started off with the Nox 800 but the chatter was to much so took it back to the truck and grabbed the Multi Kruzer. Ran it with 3 tone, sense 93 and 5khz frequency. Was concentrating on deep targets in the 6 to 8 in range. First Buffalo was at about 7in with a good tone and vdi reading of 26 to 31. Next old target was a Tax token at 6in. After several deep beaver tails I hit a high tone reading 83 84 from two ways and at 9in reading. Dug down to about 8in and out popped the wheat. Last Buffalo was hit at about 8in. Really impressed with the Kruzer in 5khz and the 7in concentric coil. Good hunting all!

Nice find Welgund. Thanks for sharing...

That's some good old coin hunting! I love finding those old nickels. I'm amazed that a 7 inch search coil run at 5kHz can hit low conductors that deep. Luckily you had a detector with you that could handle the EMI. Big Congrats and thanks for sharing your settings.

Congratualtions on the old coin shooting! :occasion14:

Good job on finding the deep coins and knowing when to switch machines...:icon_thumleft:
