A Little More Silver & A Great Video....MMMMmmm, Tasty!!!

Hello Fellow Tnetters,

I went back out to the park where I scored 5 silvers and 15 wheaties just a few days ago, but this time my buddy and master video editing guru, Jon (goldenapples), joined me for the hunt. We both had a blast. :occasion18: Jon made a great video of the day's digs....you'll even see me enjoy a bit of tasty silver... :laughing3: This little area of the park has produced 11 silver coins and over 30 wheats in just a couple of hunts.

Thanks, Jon, for filming and editing another great video of DEEEP digging with the Explorer detectors....9-10" signals? No problem if you know what you're listening for.

I hope you enjoy our film.... Again, for the Exp. newbies, this video should help to better identify those sweet sounds of deeper coinage, and give you some pointers/techinque for deeper digging in the turf!

Thanks Everyone!!

HH,

Dan

Dan, you have been striking the wilver at a consistent rate for well over a year. That is very impressive in today's metal detecting, since many parks are considered to be hunted out.

Goldenapples did a great job on filming your excavations. I have always loved your excitement on every one of your wilver recoveries. :hello2: Your videos will definitely help some of these :newbie: SE users! :headbang:

Good luck on your next outing and, as always, keep the fever high, my friend from SoCal!

Hey, Kyle, thanks alot!! You're right...every park I've been hunting at has been pounded since the 80's. I'm finding all the left-overs, but I'll take 'em... ;D
It sure looks like your research is starting to pay off. You, Kirk, and your uncle are starting to make some great Colonial finds! I think it's just the beginning to a great year for you guys!!

Keep the Passion High, my friend from PA.

Yeah, the year started off slow, but last week proved to us that it should be a dandy. My unc and I are going back to the same site on Sunday. Right before we left, I dug up a dropped musketball and a flat button right in the area of the coppas; they were both whispers and over 7 inches deep.

Talk to you later, buddy!

That was an awesome video, Jon and Dan! I was excited just watching it! Thanks for caring enough about us newbie detectorists to post it. I'm learning alot from tnet., and the great people that post here. I think I'll pass on putting a coin in my mouth, though! :tongue3: LOL Again, thanks for the super video! Mosey
