I just got off the phone with the wife and she says the dr. told her the surgery went a lot better than they hoped. He's in ICU Recovery now and wil stay in the hospital for a couple of days. They said they won't have to drain off any excess fluid before doing the reconstruction surgery later.

Thanks again everyone. Our family can't begin to tell you how much we appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Bless you all!

Hunter is still in ICU and sitting up and talking. He still has a medical device hooked up that measures fluid pressure. It's registering around a 6 which is good. They want to keep it in for 24 hr and then remove it. He'll probably come home Fri. to await the next round and the wife will be home as well and can tell you more.
