Re: A little R&B

I was never a fan of Lou Rawls

But there is alot of good R&B music out there

Re: A little R&B

I think you may have forgotten Earth, Find & Fire, along with the Tower of Power.. Music was good back then and the full album was worth listening to

True, but with today's radio you may have to wait a good period before they play something decent. My car is equipped with a 12 disc CD changer and Sirus radio. Sirus is the best thing since sliced bread, you can program up to 20 groups and preset 30 stations. Best part is that you will get a beep for an artist alert and have the groups name flash and the channel they are on. One quick enter and bingo, you are at that station :icon_thumleft:

I rarely listen to music in my car.
Don't do alot of driving anymore.
can go close to a month on a tank of gas
and thats at about 15 MPG so Sirus
would just be another monthly bill.

I Usually listen to Blues, Classic rock, or Uncensored Rap
on MUSIC CHOICE at home.

Lately I Can't get Uncensored Rap channel.
I wonder if if the baby sitters of the world
had in removed rather then just not listen to it :-\

Re: A little R&B

Earth, Wind, and Fire ain't R&B. But perhaps more so than the Champs, who got a Grammy for best R&B performance for 'Tequila' in 1959.
