Hey fellow detectorists,

The weatherman said that it was going to clear up before noon so I headed out about 7:30 for a neighboring town.

Partook of my breakfast on the way.

The rain stopped just before I arrived at the first school; I did have to put my jacket on as there was a little bit of a chilly wind. Before I finished with the school, 1 1/2 hours later, I was sweating to death. I had to peel my jacket off as it was stuck to my arms. ::) Among the stuff I found there was a weird looking thing (in the picture with the question mark), don't have a clue what it could be. The blingy looking bracelet with the stars is plastic...had me going for a second when I eyeballed it underneath the slide! Thought I might have pulled a Boobydoo there for just a second. LOL. The next playground wasn't real good, thats where Buzz Lightyear was located peaking up out of the sand. The following school netted the tiny ring with the red stone (#43). Of the 5 quarters I found on this one, 4 of them were in the same hole. That was fun for a minute. The next school netted more pennies than anything else...the Cheerios car was found there. The next park tot lot on my first signal in the sand I pulled a ring with 3 shiny stones (#44). There was a kid right next to me looking up at me, "Wudjafind?" I grabbed the ring and jammed it into my pocket. Later, on examination it proved to be some kind of copper alloy type ring and even tho the stones are shiny and pretty I have no doubt that they are fake. :-[

So, I'm only up to 4,737 coins for the year...I've got to find a more profitable area to hunt!
The day finished with a beautiful blue sky and I headed home, arriving at 9:45pm.

Ya'all have a good un, I have an anniversary party to get to by 2 and its 10 to 1 right now. I'll check back when I get home.

Looks like a decent day to me Bob. Glad you got out. Keep the finds coming. Good luck buddy!

Smiles!
BDoo

Excellent finds and I bet the donut was good, too!

Looks like a decent day to me too. Excellent finds! The weird thing with the "?" looks like a dome ring. Ring #44 is awesome. Plus you really stacked up on the clad.

;) RR

Nice finds, the whatsit may be a neckerchief/scarf ring. HH, Mike

Great finds and you haven't hit that beach yet??

Prober,
Can I start calling you Little BDoo? ;D Great haul you made. Congrats to you.
You look like Homer Simpson driving down the road with that doughnut. ;)

Great rings. I think i see a zipper pull in that collection. :) :) :)

Could your question mark be a sharks mouth ring??

Awesome finds there ....but I wish ya wouldn be wavin them donuts
in front of us fatboys :o

Doozis

great finds prober ;) that donut made me hungry to ;D

Thanks Bdoo.

Lost at Sea - Yep, it was good but it was only one of three..lol

River Rat - still don't know what it is, I have no clue what a dome ring is.

Bavaria Mike - You may be right but it is real heavy.

Jack - Yeah, it was the last place I hit. Walked my little feet off and detected every spot that had
footprints and only found 3 quarters, 5 pennies, a barrette and the large black earring.

Modern Miner - Homer doesn't have anything on me, my gut is rapidly gaining on him. LOL

MasterEagle - yep that's what I think it is...I kept it just for you, normally I pitch them.

Teverly, nice guess but I don't know what a sharks mouth ring is.

Doozis - I was waving that donut in front of this fat boy, but as you can see, not for long.

treasureguy - it was a fun day, but really tiring.

weasel606, sorry I ate it. You will have to buy your own. LOL

tymcmurray - thanks.

Dave & Bobbie - Thanks for lookin.

Look at the ring from the side with the serrations and it looks like a sharks open mouth.Maybe just some kind of theme ring.. like sticking you finger in a sharks mouth.

Really strange ring but I like it. Keep em coming!

Teverly, I think you may be right When you put it on your finger and look at it you can see the two eyes and the fin as well as the teeth. OK, I'm counting it as Ring #45.

Cool day Prober. Nice bunch of diggins'.
The beach pic is beautiful, very inviting...

Keep safe...

Rudy - thanks. They had the red flag flying, rip currents. Very few people in the water or on the beach. There was a beer tent with a band going on so there were a lot of people over there. Made it pretty easy to detect the beach.
