It was a mid Saturday afternoon garage sale stop so the expectations were low. It looked like the sellers may have just pulled some additional items out of the attic to add to the sale. The lady of the house saw me looking at the box of jumbled Star Wars models and said "If you want it you can have all of this Star Wars stuff for $5." The man adds " Some of it I had as a kid and there are some action figures too."
There were 28 of the 'original' 1978-1983 action figures and a case, all figures played with so condition varied, most missing accessories ... and a host of later action figures, models, etc. It seems their kids had also played with the items.
Fast forward several weeks, sold all these to a local collector through CL for $100, with the addition of a non-working 1978 vintage remote controlled R2D2 found in another low dollar crate lot I'll describe some other time... and now I have an eager buyer for anything else Star Wars related that I might find!
