Now, these finds are yesterday and Sunday. I went to the beach and got the 14k gold wedding ring and the 14k gold and I think emerald with diamond ladies' ring along with over $9 clad in a LONG hunt. Place had a lot of people and they like to leave stuff on the beach. Also got a cute little stainless steel cross, about to wash into the ocean, and a plated gold ring with "2017" on it, plus a couple toys.
The SURPRISE was that I wasn't quite exhausted enough when I came home, so took the machine for a swing on the lawn. Found a clad dime, a zincoln and some trash and got a "96" on the Deus, and a shallow tone at that. So huh? Down less than 2" was this sterling silver hallmarked ring with a moonstone set in it. The company that made it existed almost a century. It has the earlier "sterling" hallmark and dates from the 1920's to 1950's, it's really hard to pin down the year. Manufacturer is Budlong, Docherty, & Armstrong Jewelry Company in Providence, Rhode Island.
I've lived here 40 years, and this was a surprise.
