Went to an old 1800s grist mill site the old rock wall pics. found some old bottles Ill post pics tomorrow also went to a few other spots got some clad a buckle and the closest Ill get to a 2 or 3 ringer in Michigan Great to get out it was in the 60s wooo hoooo Thanks for looking Tommy

Weather in PA has been crazy warm as well. I have a couple grist mill sites I have researched this winter that i have yet to hunt. I wonder if the buyers and millers conducted
Trade on site with coin currency or some sort of credit. Or if the mills were basically factories and the money transactions took place at a market in town. Most grist mill sites around me are quite remote and very much reclaimed by nature. Nice finds.
