I dug 4 of these tokens from the same junky field. Cant find any info on them. Maybe someone with knowledge of these tokens can chime in? Rare??? Scarce???

Pics of 1875 token. Quarter size. The obverse looks like a 3 cent nickel.

Help me out with the wording on the Oyster token - John T. Miles but what is on the line below packer?

It says JOHN T MILES, OYSTER PACKER, KINGSTON, MD (Maryland). We were just a few miles from this small town when I dug them. Thanks

Thanks! I see it listed in Schenkman's Maryland Merchant Tokens book - he says "This oyster packer went out of business in the 1880s." He assigns a $22-35 value.

BIG congrats on some nice finds! The one with the star(s) is known as a "Trime" or "three cent silver"piece.Like the cob too, that's one great hunting property. Best of luck this year and make sure to show us the goods please.HH.....
