Hi All

Got a chance to hunt an old home and found a muddy knife that I spent the rest of the night cleaning and oiling, from what I can tell its a 1960 ULSTER Knife, any info on the date would be appreciated.

One more thing, I have no idea its about 2 or 3 inches overall works almost like a vice, let me know what you all think.

I think the emblem is Boy Scouts - perhaps a google on 60's BSA pocket knifes would help.

I agree its a Boy Scouts 50's or 60's, but most have a tree bark simulated grain, this one has like serrated lines.

Nice knife . All of the ones I ever dug look horrible compared to that

A bit of rust but some wb40, it was inside a house the floor was rotted away so had a chance to detect the ground inside, I don't know if that helped but it was in-cased in mud

Nice digs. The knife looks like a fresh drop I wish my knifes would come out looking like that. Good job on the cleaning.

They must have had it oiled up a bit when it got lost ~~~~ "Whoops slippery ! " Wheres my knife at now arrrgh !! Hope to find one that nice hmm :icon_scratch: well I did get a small penknife once, not sure where it ended up tho.

Boys scout knife I agree 60's

Item number two works in reverse of a vise. It is bolted to a vertical Milling table and Is used to both Level and brace an item e.g. Engine head or exhaust manifold so it can be surfaced.

I am sure it has other applications in machining but that is what you have there

Thank You

Hi All.
I had no idea, it was so small, I did not see the purpose of such a small vise lol.
