Took a walk today. Not a lot to show, except this.........

It's copper, slightly larger than the 1919 Wheat I found, is wafer thin and has no discernible markings other than the 2 sets of arrowheads near the perimeter. I can't find anything on the interweb that has those markings. Any help would be appreciated.

Wow it could be either. I once took an old LC that was really in bad shape like your coin and tumbled it. I figured what the heck! After a tumble I could see some details. If you really want to know tumble it. Nice find though and congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Chizzy, I defer to the button experts, but I'm just curious as to how does a flat button attach to anything.
If the object might be a coin, I envision a bust facing right on your most recent pic.

I think you're seeing things. The first picture does show a scar where the shank attached.
