I’m afraid it just looks like a rock to me too. I don’t see any lashing either, braided or otherwise.

I get it, pics don't do it justice some times. I can literally pull the embedded lashing. I'll see if I can get better pictures

Sorry, it is natural rock, not artifact, even blown up it shows no signs of being touched or worked by man..

I agree with the others, it's a natural formation. created from natural weathering and fracturing.
I see no peck marks, use wear or any other sign it's a native American relic.
