If you look closely it still has the braided lashing around the piece.

looks like a common rock to me but what do I know:dontknow:
 

I’m afraid it just looks like a rock to me too. I don’t see any lashing either, braided or otherwise.

Sorry, it is natural rock, not artifact, even blown up it shows no signs of being touched or worked by man..
 

Might be plant roots that were growing against the rock?
 

I agree with the others, it's a natural formation. created from natural weathering and fracturing.
I see no peck marks, use wear or any other sign it's a native American relic.
