We had very high winds Saturday and Sunday with gusts up to 60 mph. This huge branch missed our vehicles by inches.

Still got out on Sunday but pickins' were slim, mostly rusted iron junk and a couple head stamps.

This is the relic I'm stumped about. It is iron. If anyone can identify it I'd appreciate it.

Kind of reminds me of this. Maybe a spacer for an old mower blade?Screenshot_20190225-191637_Chrome.webp

Missouri here. I think the entire lower 48 states had high winds over the weekend. That tree is mostly dead so the falling branches are very light.

You should clean that top relic and display it. It's a repair link for a chain.

Glad you got a chance to get out and metal detect. That falling tree definitely was a close call. Congrats on your cool saves.
