A neat experience

I was just relaxing today then got a call from my neighbor. He asks if I could bring my metal detecting stuff over and I say sure but why. He then explains his niece got into the hobby by him showing all my finds I've found out around here. I got to show how to use a metal detector and give a few tips and an idea of a beginner metal detector to buy. I thought it was cool to get someone young into the hobby. Also as a bonus I think it may have open a permission for me to detect in probably won't be able to keep anything but this property has a named mine on it and a lot of history, I may get to help teach my neighbors niece to use the metal detector there. I haven't done much metal detecting lately as my new machine frustrated me but this was something that made me think I should get back out and keep trying.
