my daughter received a new Garrett Ace 250 for Christmas and is already kicking my butt. she has already found more nickels than I did the entire year. anyway her she is digging at the park

I got 3 boys, I wish they would go with me but don't have the time on their Christmas vacation but the oldest who is a sopmore might. You are lucky already as well as her, a winner.

My son likes going to the parks...he plays and then when he sees me digging he'll come over to help me or see what I've found then he's back the to slide...lol. Hope one of these days I can get him to swing longer than five seconds. He is at least enthusiastic about what I find. I hope your daughter continues to enjoy the hobby and wish her luck in 2012.

thanks everybody. it is great to have a child that wants to join in, even better when they are enthusiastic about it, and asks when we can go again.
I already told her that when she gets better with her md and gets a little bigger that I might get her an Erac, although, I don't know if I want the competition.
