Me & my detecting partner were out by 6:30 this morning. We were going to go to a place we had lined up, & it turned out to be a bust. ( No not a bust coin ) I mean a real bust as in it didnt pan out the way we had planned. We decided to switch gears & come back closer to home. There was another stretch of woods I had permission to be in, so we decided to check it out. We walked into the woods, & all of 2 minutes in, my first hit & dig was this 1906 Baber dime. She is a little worn but still a Barber. As fate would have it, it was the only coin for the next 3 hrs. Good luck to all. Ron in IL.

Nice that you got out. Around here the temp is near 100 and the ground is hard as a rock.

Love that barber. Only found one in 4 years of detecting this time (4yrs the last time I was hunting in the mid 80s).
