Hunted a Park the other day that's been there since the early 1900's.
This Park has been hunted to death by countless people for decades.
Was finding the usual Clad coins and Wheat Cents then bang - two Merc's only 15 or 20 ft. apart.
As always, sorry for the low grade photo's.

Mercury Dimes - 1925 S - 1942 D
Wheat Cents - 1936 - 1942 D
Clad Coins - (7)

Good Hunting !

well done, love that silver!

Newer technology machines, different soil conditions, etc. No place is ever hunted out only fewer things to find. Good job/great finds.

It gives satisfaction to make finds in heavily hunted areas. Might be a feeling of superiority. I've felt it with several finds in such a situation. MD holes everywhere (it's a rough place), bits of iron lying around, and I found an old silver coin, an old copper coin and a big brass bell right the middle of it all! (I always fill my holes anyway, even though it is rough.)

Fan DIMES tastic and be sure to check that 42 D merc for the valuable 42 over 41 date.
I just know someone is going to dig one of those on here. I can feel it.

Happy Holiday and Hunting, all.
