Tie Clasp! I have one like it, w/o the neat chain and coin. The bent part slides out on the one I have. It's with my old stuff somewhere in the house. I'll try to find it and post a pic. It's old, for sure. Awesome find!!!!!!

That sure is one unique find you have there. It almost looks like it could have been a coin, but I do recall seeing a coin like that.
