Gets put under the torch (with borax, soda ash and silica sand) ...that's my friend Dash with the torch and a glass of my home brew!

Giving a nice 7.3 gram chunk the jeweler can use to make a ring :)

All: thanks...and ya, I hesitate to add up the hours, it's been a fun season for sure with lots of adventure and lots of digging :)

Irishman: I make all kinds of beer, lighter, darker, you name it. That one is an American Honey Cream Ale - sooo smooth, complex and still refreshing...I'm sadly down to the last bottles. That's ok cause the next batch (yes, it's darker!) is aging in the bottles now :D

Hey Irishman, what national parks are closest to you? (My wife and I have set a goal to see them all so...)

Screeeech...smash! Woah kevdog thats impressive!! Both the hold and the beer. Is that mostly denver gold? I cant claim brewing but im the cider and mead man in the flesh! Getting ready for a early wild apple run.

Kevin... The only national PARK near us is Saguaro National Park outside of Tucson which is about 3 hours drive from us. Now if you'd like to broaden your goal to include seeing some of the national FORESTS as well there are several sections of the Coronado National Forest much closer to us. We're thinking of going out to Turkey Creek campground on an overnight recon so we can take the Munchkin along on her first real camping trip. I've got some optional ideas as well but will PM them to you once I've worked out some logistics.

Thanks! At least 3/4 Denver gold, rest from the mountains. My biggest Denver day this season was 2hours/0.45 g and biggest mountain day was 4hours/1.2g so the mountains do have their rewards! Have you tried a combo of honey and apple cider to ferment? Apple Cyser is delicious but takes years in the bottle to age before its ready to drink. I made a batch in the early 90s that tasted amazing 15 years later!!!
nice job.congrats
Thanks!

Hey Kevin that would be a great card cover when playing poker as I do. I think you should donate it to me to use next year at the World Series of Poker. Although this 1 - OZer works damn good.

LOL... Great gold and do hang onto it, plenty of Arizona gold for those who want to put the effort into getting it. Have a great weekend I know I plan to.

I'll be up in the CO mtns on a patented claim gettin' gold with my wife (a rare pleasure!) and some friends. Camping, grilling, fishing and good gold! I hope you have a great time too. And remember Labor Day honors hard working Americans and yet originated in Canada...just like Justin Bieber :P
