Found thes at the Cumberland river this weekend. Not really sure about the point if it is whole or mayby some kind of scraper as I am just getting into hunting these. I believe the small ones might be scrapers.
The one large one definitely looks like it has had some work done on it but with the size I am not sure what it could be. It is pictured with aquarter for comparison.
All input welcomed and needed.

The big one is just a rock, and the one looks to be a stemmed point that has been turned into exactly what you think it is, a scraper. Nice lookin gravel out there and boy there are more all over that river.

Yep... I agree with you both.. A scraper it is.

I also concur with badandy & Johnny X...That one is a stemmed scrapper. Gotta love tools!

Is there a way to determine the period of this scraper?

In the one pic with all of the rocks it appears that there are some ancient ceremonial ashes to the left. Or, it is your cigarette ashes LOL. Hey, nice finds!

Yes I see it now how could I have missed those when I was picking up that scraper?....I will have to look closer next time. Hopefully they were not cremation ashes. :D
