A question about 2 box detectors

I have never used one before, and was wondering if you swing it like a normal detector, or walk straight like it shows in all the pics that I have seen with it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and Have a happy new year, May 2010 bring great finds!

You walk with it hanging straight at your side. Some also use a shoulder strap to take some weigh off the drinking arm. They are only good for larger targets like caches or "I forgot where I buried the loot." They can also find tin cans quite deep.
