A question about DFX coils ???

I have the eclipse 950 coil on my DFX. I have been hunting some parks, that have wodden benches, but with metal legs. Could I maybe get closer to the legs with say, the 4x6, or 5.3 ? My standard coil keeps me about 2 foot away. I thought the coils worked more up and down, than to the side. Any help would be appreciated, buying coils gets expensive as we all know. If I could puchase just one would be awesome, so any input would be great. Thanks in advance. Happy Hunting

Yes, the 5.3 and 4x6 will let you get closer to the legs than the 950. The 4x6 willl let you get the closest. Also remember to lower the sensitivity to get closer yet.

Thanks Tom, I will remember to adjust the sensitivity. I am hoping to get a 4x6 coil.
