A question about Nevada

Approx two years ago I saw a documentary on treasure hunting, one of the stories on the show that night was about a campsite in or around David Nevada where you can camp, claim a site and treasure hunt... Does anyone know where this place is, and could you please point me towards it, I am trying to plan a trip for the family during spring break, however, I just can not find this place on the net anywhere. Your help would be appreciated.

Go to the Yale Peabody Museum website and do a gnis search for your state/county and see what you can find.

Thanks to both of your answers, I do believe it is daveytown as the map drawing is right about where i remember seeing it. I will keep researching the subject. Your help has moved me into the right direction.
