A Quick Cent Hunt

On the way out to a detecting site yesterday, my brother and I made a quick stop at the bank and picked up $5 in cents. After looking through them today here are the totals:

3 wheats (19, 39, 58D)
122 pre-82's
4 Canadians

It's always pretty amazing to see the variety you can find in such a small sample size: a date range of almost 100 years!

BTW: anyone else out there a copper hoarder? If so, how many do you have? My brother and I just started, so we only have about 250.

I do hoard pennies and have been for years. Just sold 362lbs last weekend as we are moving and just didn't want to take them with me if possible. I still have $150 it so still. Once we settle in ill start hoarding again. I made a profit of $200 on my sale. Good luck. I've been averaging $8 of copper per $25 searched.

I do, it's good, no downside to it really. I have a buyer at 1.4c each too haha.
