Hit an elementary school yard today and instead of hunting the playground, which is in the rear of the building, I decided to check the front by the front entrance. I'm pretty sure this area of the school has never been detected. I pulled about $7 in clad and these beauties all within about an hour of swinging. I will definitely be heading back to this spot as soon as I can! I have never found a Cub Scout neckerchief slide.....ever! Now, 3 in one day and a pinky toe ring ring and another ring I am not sure on... Anyone have any idea what the "CTR" ring is about? There are no markings on either ring, so no value there, just interesting.

Thanks for looking! HH! Cory

The ctr on the ring means choose the right.

"Choose the right" is a saying or motto among members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) that is taught to children and used by members of the church as a reminder to act righteously. The phrase is taken from an LDS hymn which has that title.

Now, back to that spot I go!

They must have had club meeting there or nearby, wow! It's now wonder those are found often. I remember when I was a scout and having them slip off.

I remember mine slipping off all the time also, especially at recess at school, surprising I didn't lose more than I did... I bent the back clips in to hold tighter on my neckerchief...... Memories!

Nice finds, defiantly hit that spot again. Over half of the neckerchief slides I find are smashed flat, those look to be in good shape.
