I had a fun hunt yesterday that produced a nice assortment of finds. Most of the items were in close proximity to an old deer blind that overlooked a vernal pool

Coins included: 1943 Washington, 1943 Merc, a 20 Groschen from Austria ( 1950's), a buffalo nickel, and a handful of pennies

The highlight of the day was a 10 k ring. Given that I spend most all of my time detecting in the woods, I don't find many rings. This was a very nice surprise

Thanks for taking a look and good luck to all!

That certainly was some productive time spent walking in the woods. Silver is always nice, but that ring is great. Is that half of a sash buckle too? I really like finding those. Congrats on the finds.

Thanks Everyone.
lenmac65- I don't think I have ever come across a sash buckle, so I had no idea what that item was...Thanks for the ID. It's a nice little piece.

I can't see your photo very well, so I hope I got the right ID. If so, hopefully this means you are on some old dirt too. By the way, here is an old photo of a woman wearing a sash buckle; the shape is very similar to your piece. Congrats again.

I've had a little luck with finding old coins that hunter's had dropped back in the day. Haven't found one of their rings yet. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Finally an older picture with somebody smiling in it! By the way, that ring is absolutely fantastic.

Beautiful old ring. Looks like it has some weight to it.
