"A river runs through it"
Hi all , had a couple of hours yesterday and a couple today on an old pasture field near to where I live. Signals were few and far between, and the digging fairly hard, even after lots of recent rain. Managed a couple of Georgian coins a George 111 halfpenny 1806 and a George 111 shilling 1816. The shilling as been pierced and looks slightly green, it may be counterfit. Also got a Georgian buckle and two button fronts.
