A Rosie Kinda Of Day

I tried a new part of town today to see what could drum up. I started out working some grassy areas between some curbs and sidewalks before getting a permission to detect a private yard. Most of the homes in the area were built in the mid-fifties.

A lady drove up and started talking to me and wanting to know what I was doing. She said that she lived down the street and pointed out the house. After some friendly chit chat I popped the question. How about you letting me detect your yard? Y'all saw that one coming a mile off! She said sure have it.

She drove off to go to work before I could give her a key chain light when a truck drove up behind her. I'll see her again and thank her really good and give her a key chain light. Maybe she has some friends who live up and down the street.

I detected around 3 hours, I just couldn't get it in gear today. I almost found as many silver coins as I did wheat pennies. I just wasn't in a digging mood today. I need to switch things up again.

I was using the Nokta Fors Relic today with 3 Tones, 99 Sensitivity, Iron Tone 2, ID Mask 5 and IMask 2. The weather was gorgeous!

Thanks! I'm not keeping count this year. I'm going to pace myself and try some different type of detecting and sites.

I don't know how you do it tabman, practically a new detector every hunt lately. I find it hard to move to machines from other manufactures as quickly as you. I bet you could pull silver if only armed with your pin pointer.
