Howdy folks,
I thought I'd throw the question out here to find out about interchangeability of coils for my Fisher GB-pro.
I want to switch back and forth with the 6 1/2" round that's on it, and an elliptical DD or single wind of between 9 and 11". What I'm attempting to do is to give myself the option of either coils on a search, to work both broad and narrow patterns, but not a super wide ability, as there will be an increase in targets already, (the reason for switching in the first place), so I can keep from having to carry two machines.
My lack of knowledge on various ellipticals is limited when it comes to compatibility to the GB-pro, as I don't know if a bigger coil will alter or affect the frequency or if it will weaken signals other than the norms.
Thanks for any answers that will help me to decide.
Merry Christmas! eyeball.
