Thats cool DD. I've always seen the flattened penny tokens but I've never seen one made from a quarter before. Cool :icon_thumleft:

Same here that is a first i can not find anything on Goggle about it , must be a one of a kind ? Dd60

Very cool token. 8) Congrats on the find.

I think since there is a eagle on the back of that quarter its from the 30's sometime, since thats when they started putting the eagles on the back of quarters, so I would say you got a WW11 token..that is really neat looking too.

I'd agree on '65 or later, as the general shape of the sub looks like a nuclear sub, and not a diesel boat. Cool find!

Awesome finds :icon_thumright: Congratulations :icon_thumleft:
I love the token

Found a link with your Submarine. It is listed under the Miscellaneous section with very little information other than they were pressed on 1965 or later Quarters.

Here ya' go:

Clad or not, how often does one come across a Machine Pressed coin? Pressed pennies are pretty much a common thing and I had never seen a pressed quarter until today, except for the ones my friends and I laid on the trains tracks.

Glad I could find a link for ya' as well.
