I had to laugh when I was going through a drawer recently and found this vintage freebie from Garrett Detectors, which is probably 30 years old. It is kind of funny to think, "What does a comb have to do with metal detecting?" but it was a simpler time 3 decades ago. I understand a Garrett hat, towel, or even sunglasses, but a comb? Even more ironic is the fact that I don't have much on my head to comb anyway.

Too funny, is the phone # still good?

Cool comb... and an interesting artifact of a time gone by... !

Got the hair to go with it? Made my day!:headbang:

Garrett use to Hand out Several Advertising Specialties at the GPAA Shows.

Sewing Kits, , magnets, nail Aprons for Finds. Etc. May have been where the comb came from.
a Garrett Advertising stand at a Hunt or Show

I use a Garrett lanyard to hold a dry washcloth when I hunt.

which reminds me, my cloth needs washed :laughing9:
