A surprising Sunday Swing!

Headed out to our favourite fields today, beautiful sunny day today here in England and conditions under foot were much dryer, thank goodness! Xx

i always am surprised by the split of our finds, today was no exception, I got Roman coins straight away, so being a good swinger I summoned himself over to my patch, he found zero Roman coins, but 3 and a bit crotal bells! By the end of the day I had bagged all the coins, no IDs but guess they are 9 scrappy Romans, and 1 George the 3rd (I think).

Lovey lead button, usual mix of buttons, lead weights (?) musket balls, part of a buckle, and some other bits! xx Quite a slow day, but a perfect Sunday! xx

The sun has brought the pretty field flowers out 😍 xx
