Saturday’s Finds xx

After another busy week, could not wait to get out in the fresh air!!! A lovely sunny day, but cold!! We headed back off to the race course! My first signal was a Roman coin, which is very exciting as its the first from this field… ! xx

Day of the loop today tho, i found this first one which is small, himself found the next 2! Then a battered pot leg, buttons, bobbin shot and of course musket balls 😅.. finally my little roman the only coin of the day!! xx

We are out tomoz with the bassets… so no treasure hunting! xx sorry!!! xx

A lot of shot! One ball has the mark of a screw puller, I think. Those pullers were inserted into the muzzle of a loaded gun and pushed down to the top of the ball, rotated so the screw bit into the lead ball, and the ball was then pulled out of the barrel.
