A friend lost his, any idea where it would show up on an Ace 250 ?

i'm no engineer but...
i've always heard of titanium referred to as a type of steel. maybe it will show up in the ferrous range?!? a call to your local university science dept may help.

Ask him if the matching ring HERS is also titanium as use it as a
test piece. If so let us all know the results so we would know
what to watch for. It is an interesting as more jewelry is being
made of this.

on my minelab Elite it rings the same as a nickle vdi(149) so it should also be in your nickle range

Through some research I've learned that titanium is non ferrous.
The wifes wedding band is gold and she doesn't know his is missing yet.
And its density is far, far less than gold. Un fortunately my friend lives on a farm so the areas of possibility are endless, so I'm trying to narrow down the number of targets we'll need to dig.

My titanium wedding band rings either as a nickel or somewhere between foil and a nickel on my Ace 250.

The one I found with my excal sounded like a nickel but it had a 18k gold band around it also

If its a recent drop turn the sensitivity way down as it will be within a couple of inches of the surface.. That will eliminate alot of the deep signal and make it easier on you..
