Did a 4 hour hunt yesterday in a VERY wet bean field. Managed to pick a few keepers out of all the trash that is at this site. Got a well worn trime, 1913 wheat, a couple of flat buttons and a bale seal. This is only the second trime that I've found since I started detecting in the early '80s. Even though it's slick, it made me very happy! 1-13-18 008.webp1-13-18 009.webp1-13-18 010.webp1-13-18 012.webp1-13-18 013.webp

Nice find on the trime. All three of mine are rough too

Nice relic and coin hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

Any time one finds a three cent silver it is time for a happy dance ,it is the smallest one in the book. What machine were you using today?

Very nice finds. Especially the trine!!

Congrats on the nice finds. I have yet to dig a trime in 40 plus years of detecting.

Thanks Toasted! Congrats on finding 3 of those little buggers

Thanks Thrifty, I was using the T2. It was bouncing around on the VDI as 66-68 if I recall. You are right, these guys are tiny. Here it is on top of that wheatie I found 1-13-18 023.webp
