A very worn Merc..... but silver none the less

I found this in a very hard hit football bleacher area..... 6 inches.... n worn badly... but a merc is a merc is a merc

That quarter is cool too, I haven't seen a silver quarter in forever it feels like.
How long did you spend to find them? How old is the bleachers area you are pulling from?

I have hunted there like 6 times since they tore out the bleachers... they are from 1918.... the qurter hunt I was there like 45 mins... n the merc hut maybe an hour.... have hit the area very hard.. but pulled out 6 silvers n a silver ring in the 6 hunts..... silver quarters r hard to find these days... least in my area

If that area is real trashy, I'd imagine there's probably a few more hiding. It won't be easy to locate them, but that's what makes it so fun and challenging.

I'll take a merc in any condition it comes. On another note, I'd rather get a nice worn one as opposed to one that is stained black. I have two mercs that are stained that way and it sucks. Congrats on that silver!

nice finds ,Old coins are all the same when you find silver.If all coins came out of the ground new they would all look alike.This way they have character !!!!
